Investment Sheets Sync ("the tool") is a personal-use utility built and operated by a single individual for their own private use. This policy explains, plainly, what the tool does with data.

Who uses this tool

Only its operator. It is not offered to, or used by, the public or any other user.

What data it accesses

The tool connects to Google's APIs (specifically the Google Sheets API) using an OAuth grant given directly by the operator to their own account. It uses this access solely to write rows of the operator's own trading/research data into a single Google Sheet that the operator owns. The tool does not read, access, or modify any other file, sheet, or Google account data beyond that one spreadsheet.

What data it does not do

• It does not collect data from, or about, any third party.
• It does not share, sell, or transmit data to any other person, company, or service.
• It does not use data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the operator's own record-keeping.
• It does not use Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models.

Data retention

Data lives only in the operator's own Google Sheet and the operator's own private server. It is retained for as long as the operator finds it useful and can be deleted by the operator at any time.

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)

Because this tool only processes the operator's own personal data, for the operator's own personal/domestic purposes, it falls outside the scope of activity the DPDP Act regulates (which governs processing of other people's personal data). No third-party personal data is processed by this tool.
